It’s been 2 months since I went to New York for the CMJ music festival with our music directors Johnny & Laura and our Promo director Gio & our campus affairs director Falyn. We went Oct 19-24. And I was so caught up with school, I didn’t get the chance to blog in detail, so I created “notes” of the trip with Gio’s help. Here they go:

holidays are great because
1. all the stupid mail lists i’m subscribed to give it a break for at least a few days…
2. the general rate of productivity goes down for at least 2 weeks because if you’re not working you don’t have to do shit and if you are working, the people you are working with probably have the days off

these past days
have been some of the most fun I have had in a while. Last week, I was getting sick and I know when I get a sore throat, I will end up getting strep throat. Tuesday I had my show which ended at 7pm. John, our office manager arranged for us to have a coffee break in the office and invite staff to take a break from studying. It was nice. He suggested we see a movie because paragon movies in...

but I forgot to write about this when the race was happening. Alex Sink ran for governor earlier this month. Woohoo, I’m all for women holding high positions in the government, but if you’re going to run under the name “Alex” you’re kind of fucking things up for women. If any progress has been made for women over the century, this is some serious backtracking.
